Hello there! Have you read this one? Any thoughts? I’m going in with major curiosity!
POMODORO ————————- So last week I was literally running on clock mechanics and the best coffee. Thrill, unhealthy/ healthy, it happens. So i figured a way to commit by inserting pockets of concious disconnection every day, which helps A LOT! With concentration, increasing productivity and guilt free down time. Here’s how it works: 25mins work— 5/10mins break for Four Cycles 30/45 mins break resume cycle Happy end year Exams Studies good people!!
Injuries & leaving the funk of it. ————————————————————— I’ve never really had an injury in the almost 10years of Running consistently. And as I thank the heavens for this minor one, the experience was something else. There’s the initial pain that you hardly think about, keep going. As that goes on, it increases to where that ‘No Pain No Gain’ 😂 mantra does not cut it. So i stopped and sat the wobble down. When you realise it could be an injury some silence swings in, you emergency call the coach at that odd hour. When the pain doesnt go away, a heat wave of fear goes through your body because injuries end careers, what are hobbies? So many ‘whys’ come up. Was I listening to Curtain Call Hits and went in too hard? Am I running wrong? How do I run wrong? Did I ignore my trainer? Is my trainer wrong? (The gym trainer gave me pain gel and an okay to keep running which only worsened it) But the biggest one that you dont ask but settles in as lemony tears is ‘Will i ever run’? I have so much respect for everyone who gets an injury and saddles back up, it’s unvendable discipline. More to those who get injured, unable to participate in a particular sport and find a way around it to stay healthy. Physically & Psychologically. My actual coach says of a time he broke his heel that he’d cycle in the gym with one leg and moved around town on a bike. No one asked him but he talks a lot 😂😂 Which is great because i’m encouraged & really working the core more while cycling with one leg like a clown. Having rested, increasing blood circulation promotes healing :) we’ll be on the road soon 💪🏾🙂 If you’ve ever had an injury, I hope this fuels you on or gets someone out of a funk. If you’ve been injured, do share your story and if you’re on recovery, get better soon!
Fear is not Propofol, let it not paralyse you ———————————————————— Fear is fight and flight.
Study Nooks ——————————— This weekend has been productivity on a roll, haha when i started drawing bananas instead of taking notes, that’s how i knew the wheel had dislodged. 😂😂 swipe for it. Some of things that truly truly keep me going are 📌study partners 📌ToDo lists 📌coffee or the smell of 📌a tidy desk. I might need more. I do, if you’ve got any suggestions, please share them in the comments section? Have a productive week you all and a wonderful Monday.
Happy weekend everyone :)

For us who Nurse, our Nursing is a thing, which, unless in it we are making progress every year, every month, every week, take my word for it we are going back. The more experience we gain, the more progress we can make.
